Day 14 Friday - Friday began with fried eggs for our tummies and
ReadingEggs for our brains. I signed up for a 30 day free trial of reading eggs, which is an online reading program for kids. They have something for all ages, even for Andrew.
Yay for Friday! We had an online google hangout with my sister and her kids. We miss seeing them in person!
The kids did some serious fort building. Ryan and Lucas ended up asking to sleep in the playroom Friday night. They both started out in there but only Lucas lasted the night.
That afternoon my Dad and the boys hit a few balls over at the baseball fields. Jenna and I went out for a bike ride and found them, so we grabbed the bat to show off our abilities.
The boys told me they weren't too impressed with my athleticism, and they thought Grandpa did a lot better than me.
Jenna and I rode all around the park, watched the big crane, and saw the police tape around all the playgrounds. (so sad)
Friday night called for homemade pizza!
Adam and I finally finished this 1000 piece puzzle.....except we were missing 4 pieces! We searched under the couch and came up with 2 random pieces that don't go to this puzzle.
Day 15 Saturday - Jenna has been sneaking out of bed at night to lay her outfit out on her floor for the next day. She told me she had been seeing this outfit in her head, and she was so excited to wear it. Ahhhh I just want her to stay this way forever!
Saturday morning we cleaned the house. There was complaining but we got it done.
I had bought this box of arts and crafts supplies a while back with some of Jenna's homeschool funds. It was raining off and on all day, so I busted out the craft supplies and let the kids go wild.
They bounced back and forth between crafts and this United States puzzle my Mom gave us.

Kids jumped in the wet rainy trampoline for a while before dinner.
I made pan-fried chicken for the kids and a quick homemade pantry minestrone soup for Adam and I, along with homemade bread. So yummy!
Day 16 Sunday - We began our morning with church. Bridgeway Christian Church has been doing a fantastic job of keeping us all connected and encouraged during this time.
And then......remember those button beads on our stick people from Saturday? I noticed Andrew messing with his nose and whining. I looked up his nose and found a red plastic bead lodged up near the top! I yelled for Adam and started panicking a little bit. I was afraid it would get stuck up further if he sucked in. Thankfully we were able to work it down and out of his nose. Thought we were in the clear but then Andrew told me the bead was blue. I started to worry that maybe there was another bead...a blue one....stuck up there further. I asked him HOW many beads he put in his nose? He tells us 2, 3, 4, 5.....I mean, how much of what a 3-year old tells you is actually true? Just to be safe we called the advice nurse and she told us what to watch for in case another one was stuck up higher.
Andrew seemed fine after that so we cautiously continued with our day, keeping a close eye on him. Adam re-organized both Ryan and Lucas' rooms.
They both requested simpler, less cluttered walls.
Mid-afternoon I took the kids on a hike. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the fresh air!
Ugh those last 5 minutes hiking up the hill with a little kid on each hip were pretty brutal!
Our neighbors across the street blessed us with the best homemade bread!! And if you ever need local honey, they produce the best honey around. Yum!
We ended our weekend with some garage ping-pong.
And a little Easter decorating!
